| Status | Jurisdictions concerned | Comment |
|---|---|---|
| Unchanged | North Korea; Iran; Myanmar | These jurisdictions remain identified as high-risk jurisdictions by the FATF. |
The FATF maintains its call for the application of enhanced due diligence measures and, in the most serious cases, counter-measures to protect the international financial system from the risks of money laundering, terrorist financing, and proliferation financing.
Grey List: Changes as of 19 June 2026
Jurisdictions under enhanced monitoring are working with the FATF to address strategic deficiencies identified in their anti-money laundering, counter-terrorist financing, and proliferation financing frameworks.
| Change | Jurisdictions concerned | Comment |
|---|---|---|
| Addition | Bosnia and Herzegovina; Iraq | These jurisdictions are now taken into account in VIGIL within the «Geographical Risk» section. |
| Withdrawal | Algeria; Namibia | These jurisdictions are no longer subject to increased FATF scrutiny. |
The FATF reminds that the presence of a jurisdiction on the grey list does not, in itself, mean that enhanced due diligence measures should be automatically applied. The published information should be taken into account in the risk analysis using a proportionate approach.
Points of attention for professionals
Following this publication, it is recommended to review client, prospect, beneficial owner, and counterparty relationships linked to newly added jurisdictions on the grey list, using a risk-based approach.
